All Accountable Members are engaged in our structured peer support and monitoring program that increases accountability, and transparency with family and providers.

Differentiate Your Practice
All Accountable Certified Providers will be listed in our network directory, that is publicly accessible, and searchable by Accountable Members.
Eliminate Splitting
Through the Accountable Portal all providers working with the individual, and family will be on the same page and able to coordinate with each other. Accountable eliminates splitting.
Objective Real-Time Clinical Data
All Accountable Members fill out a GAD-7, PHQ-9, and Brief Substance Craving Scale surveys on a weekly basis. This data is graphed and visible to all providers on the care team.
Skills In, Skills Out Tracking
Goals are set by the treatment team, and progress is tracked on a weekly basis. When someone hits their goals they receive positive reinforcement from their care team, family, and providers!
Why Accountability as a Service For Addiction
Accountable was borne out of the experience Matthew Serel, an experienced tech entrepreneur, and AJ Diaz, a Licensed Social Worker, had when they both embarked on their own journey towards a sober life years ago.
Both Matt and AJ were incredibly lucky to find supportive acute treatment for their substance use disorder. However, at a certain point, that level of care came to an end.
They wanted to have someone outside 12 step peer support programs to help them stay accountable towards their goals in recovery and life without the continued time commitment and expense of intensive or residential treatment. Unfortunately, no such service existed at the time.
Our mission is to support individuals as they discover the beautiful life of sustainable recovery that we have been blessed with.

Meet your Accountable Recovery Specialist
Your Accountable Recovery Specialist will meet you via Video Chat to review your questionnaire, and answer any questions.
Add Your Team (Clinicians, Family, and Friends)
Your Accountable Recovery Specialist will walk you through adding your care team to your portal. This will help your clinical team coordinate care, provide your family members with peace of mind, and give them all the ability to celebrate your achievements!
Weekly Accountability Checks
Respond to your personalized weekly accountability checks via secure text message. All responses are reviewed by your Accountable Recovery Specialist.
Random Remote Toxicology Screening
Occasionally, we will ask you to take a saliva drug test over video chat with frequency defined by your plan. We will use this as a time for you to check in with your Accountable Recovery Specialist for a tele-coaching session as well!
